DEMONS DON'T SLEEP: THE AWAKENING

The silence of the Knysna night is deceptive. Beneath the surface of the Western Cape, the sound is evolving, and it is anything but peaceful. Demons Don't Sleep is not just a collection of tracks—it is a full-scale auditory extraction of the nightmare I have been building in the underground. When I started Dreams Of Colour, the vision was clear: to craft a sound that bridges the gap between raw lyricism and the cold, precise structures of modern trap. This project is the culmination of that work. We have stripped away the old-school expectations and leaned into an aesthetic that is as gritty as it is calculated. The "Awakening" represents a shift in frequency. I wanted to capture the feeling of an audio-visual horror—something that feels like it was forged in an alien sci-fi universe rather than a traditional studio. Every 808 is a tectonic shift; every bar is a surgical strike designed to keep the listener trapped in the atmosphere we’ve built.
